The key objective for this role is to work with the Bangkok partners, Head of Business Development, and other SEA BD teams to support the implementation and achievement of the firm’s ambitious plans for its business and its client relationships in SEA

Business Development/Client Targeting

  • Assisting partners and lawyers on pitches – drafting, coordinating and finalising and keeping pitch records
  • Researching into pitch opportunities, including pulling together client and target information for pitch teams;
  • Drafting bespoke client-facing credentials;
  • Preparing client briefs for Partners and fee earners ahead of key opportunity meetings;
  • Ensuring pitches, capability statements, fee-earner profiles and all other important descriptions of the firm’s experience are kept up-to-date and are easily accessible by other BD and Marketing team members.
  • Connecting the dots between stakeholders in different jurisdictions and identifying cross-selling opportunities;
  • Working with Partners, lawyers and the Head of Business Development on client targeting action plans;
  • Rolling out firm-wide client initiatives;
  • Working with sector-facing BD team members on the development of the firm’s business in priority industry sectors in SEA; and

Client Relationship Management

  • Together with the Head of Business Development, supporting the development and maintenance of the firm’s relationships with important and growth clients in SEA;
  • Maintaining and overseeing client contact management on the ground and generating client reports and relationship intel; and
  • Working with the Head of Business Development, Knowledge and Learning team, and other client relationship team members on the design of appropriate client education activities, such as tailored seminars and training.

Communications and profile raising

  • Working with the Asian Communications team and the Head of Business Development on integrated communications and marketing campaigns to promote the firm’s business in SEA, including:
  • Internal communications activity to support cross-selling and better understanding of the firm’s activities, successes and plans;
  • External communications, including the production of material aligned to business goals, such as targeted brochures, newsletters, press releases and others;
  • Ensuring submissions for legal directories, league tables and awards successfully capture the firm’s achievements;
  • Conducting and organising ongoing executive trainings for fee earners;
  • Facilitating SEA and regional client events and networking opportunities;
  • Compiling and circulating practice-specific and/or jurisdictional news updates;
  • Developing and executing a programme of appropriately targeted events;
  • Assessing advertising and sponsorship opportunities against the firm’s business goals;
  • Participating in other events and initiatives to promote the Bangkok office and the firm internally and externally.



  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in marketing, communications or business administration
  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing will be advantage.
  • Experience of marketing in a global organisation.
  • Experience working on pitches for international law firms, investment banks and major corporates
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, in English and Thai
  • Good computer skills; Power Point, Word, and Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
