Supports for all aspects of project development cycle from inception stage to construction start. Primary objectives for Business Development Officer are to be familiar with government policies, permit obtaining and licensing process, and be able to identify new business development opportunities in power and other related businesses in Thailand and abroad. Business Development Officer reports directly to Business Development Manager.
Keep up to date with the power business, monitor for change in government policies and regulations, and identify new development opportunities arise under IPS and VSPP/SPP scheme, and in power related business in and outside Thailand.
Coordinate with team members from other departments such as engineering, finance, permit and legal, work in collaboration with consultants, contractors and partners to ensure all project development activities go according to plan.
Liaise and work with government agencies, local authorities and all project stakeholders regarding in particular local regulations, land use/acquisition, access rights, technical, environmental, community involvement and all other aspects required to ensure successful execution of project development program.
Support preparation of project feasibility study, perform market analysis and risk assessment, and prepare recommendation for project approval.
Support preparation of framework agreement with potential partners and early-stage project documents for executive review.
Coordinate with all project members to ensure project schedule goes as planned, prepare project weekly and monthly review and ensure all team members are well aware of project performance.
Engineering background and business knowledge.
Male/Female 27-33 years old.
Minimum 3-5 years working experience in project and/or business development for Energy Business
Understanding of Energy business, Renewable Energy, Solar Power, Wind power, Related government policies.
Good knowledge of technical and commercial for energy business.
Ability to work in a multicultural team.
Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
