Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct and control the operation of chemical laboratory
  • Be responsible for manpower/resource planning, training and development of staff
  • Ensure the competencies of all staff operate equipment, perform tests, evaluate results are met international standards
  • Develop and implement of new testing standards and specifications
  • Control the effectiveness and efficiency of workflow systems
  • Ensure laboratory is properly and safety equipped to standard
  • Ensure test equipment and instruments are in good conditions and calibrated according to the assigned calibration schedule

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry or related fields
  • At least 5 years’ experience in testing laboratory with background of analytical instrument – GC-MS, HPLC, LC-MSMS, ICP-MS with 3 years in managerial level
  • Understand and have experience in ISO17025 implementation
  • Good leadership & good team player with high responsibility with people management skills
  • Good English communication both written and spoken
