To establish a representative line of merchandise in the assigned category which will enable all stores to achieve the sale target while maintaining a strong competitive position.
To source the right suppliers, negotiate the best prices, good product quality, on time delivery in order to achieve company goals agreed upon in the seasonal operational plan.
To ensure that each store has collections and supply of merchandise which will optimize business possibilities.
To visit supplier on plan basis, to attend shoe fairs and buying trips and to get up to date news on fashion and apparels to glean information on future trend as well as visiting stores to understand more precisely what customer need.
All purchases to be in line with the approved total seasonal budgets as well as with the monthly Open-To-Buy.
To maintain a distribution procedure and ensure every order the packing and labeling procedures are forwarded to the suppliers and properly executed by them.
To maintain a continuous flow of merchandising information to and from the stores.
To review merchandising reports and sales statistics (S.I.R. Store Report).
To initiate sales promotions and to produce the merchandise for these promotions in good time.
To suggest competitions for store personnel in order to stimulate sales
To keep all store personnel informed about fashion trends, shoe collection and selling features of individual articles through the merchandise catalog / newsletter.
Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration or any related field.
More than 5 years’ experience in buying strategy and planning with fashion retail business.
Experience dealing with supplier both domestic and oversea.
Experience with footwear or fashion retailer is preferred.
Strong negotiation skill and keep update on fashion trend.
Good command of English and advance in Excel with PivotTable and VlookUp.
Good attitude, flexible, team player and able to travel.
